Introducing McKinney Chiropractor, Dr. Todd Molski
Being a very active 14-year-old, I found myself unable to participate in the one thing I enjoyed most, playing soccer. One morning I turned to get out of bed and I felt a searing knife going through my mid back and was unable to move.
My mom was very skeptical of Chiropractors, being a medical assistant for the majority of her life. She took me to the Chiropractor, when all the other doctors said it was 'growing pains.' After about 2 weeks of adjustments, I was back to playing and having fun. As I grew up, I got the message from the Chiropractor: keep your body working well and you'll be able to enjoy life. So I did and I ended up playing soccer professionally for 2 years. At that time, I decided to go to Chiropractic school which was the best decision I ever made.
Luckily enough for me the school I chose was literally in my neighborhood. Logan College of Chiropractic in Saint Louis, Missouri is one of the highest academically challenging schools in the United States. There were many great educators and Doctors of Chiropractic at Logan who made me the Chiropractor I am today.
My goal with all my practice members is to have them understand and live a wellness based Chiropractic lifestyle. I find that the patients who respond best to my model adapt a wellness based Chiropractic lifestyle quickly or already have some of the necessary ingredients like an exercise program or a balanced diet. The most satisfying aspect of my practice is when one family member comes in, gets the message of wellness, brings their family in, and sees changes they never thought possible through Chiropractic.
Interestingly enough, my wife and I met at a Chiropractic screening that I was having in the community where we both lived at that time. Katrina and I were married in 2002. We both enjoy working out at the gym, movies, and walking our dogs. We like to go to the mountains where I ski and she shops!
My wife and I receive Chiropractic care on a regular basis to maintain our nervous system function. Through my studies on health, medications, and side effects we elect to rarely take prescriptive and over-the-counter medications. Supplements like vitamins and omega 3 fatty acids are a staple of our lifestyle. We exercise and try to eat a healthy diet on a regular basis to improve our health. However, we do enjoy our outings for pizza and an occasional ice cream!
